Oh and JOE, just out of curiosity is your name pronounced by screaming it? Because I think that'd be pretty cool... But it would get old after a while, might need a nickname that doesn't need to be yelled... like 'skippy.' Just a thought.

He's entitled to his opinion. I've got mine. We'll keep it at that. However, I am on a crusade against the abuse of the poor defenseless caps lock key. Someone has to stand up for them.
I'll agree with joe, but personally I don't give a shit what other people want to do with their bike. Rather then screaming about cookie cutter bikes, go out and build something cool that overshadows all of them.
Also, you don't have to look at cookie cutter bikes at all if you GET OFF THE INTERNET.

I must say, looking at your website Joe. It appears you do some damn fine work.
one i had the caps locked from something else ...a mistake and to show how old i am i never knew it would make such a big deal...hmmm,i learned somthing today.
and it was not hate mail others made it that!
i noticed a bike yesterday in a mag ,then on cafe racer last night and then on ebay all in less than a day so that is why i made the statement and it was joking around not malicious....it was a statement about a gas tank not a bike or a person or someone specific! i almost used one a few years ago and if someone said that today i would agree they have been beat to death!
matty you actually posted my web site after you made the case for cookie cutter web sites bill gates pulled out of his ass....so it was quite a bit different i would say you personally attacked me.
even though i think your way off base as this is a site about bikes not web sites so it is not even relevent(or the same as you claim) i agree and in the process of upgrading the site but for an old guy like me who has no idea how to make one and depended on a fellow who did it for free i really had no choice...yeah i think it is pretty out of date too but i would not say what you did and then post a specific guys web site...

I guess you still don't see my point. While I wasn't trying to attack you personally, you took it personally... But it's just as possible someone with a Mojave tank saw your post and tool it just as personally. And thus balance to the force is restored...
