Like the title says. In this diagram where would you place the momentary starter button?

looks like he is using the key switch on the orange wire. Like a car where you turn the key to start and it springs back.

That's what I was thinking too. So if I'm using a push button start, I would put it inline on that orange wire, right?

No, it would go between the red and orange.
You have realised that there is no fuse or stop light in that diagram. There is something else that doesn't look right but I can put my finger on it.

Not to risk confusing things, but I just did this on my cb750 to eliminate the starter button.

When you turn your ignition to "on" its essentially connecting the battery (red) and the ignition (black), when you push the starter, it connects the black (which is now on) to orange (which is going to your starter relay). In other words if you want it to work like a normal motorcycle and have the on switch and then a push-to-start, you just need to put the button inline so that when you push it it's connecting the black and the orange and sends the power through to the starter. Hope that helps.

Got it sorted, thanks guys. It works with a momentary switch inline on the orange wire. And yes, I realize the diagram has no fuses or accessories, they will be added.
