We converted a new Falcone tail light to LED. The photos should explain the process...

You'll see that we basically cut off the old bulb fittings, riveted the cover mounts, then cut the center section out. Then we drilled a hole and JB welded the LED in place. The LED was a really tight fit in the hole so with the JB weld it should be in there securely.
