just brace it from under the seat with a bracket that holds it where you want it behind the seat. dont need to worry about the foam. paint the bracket black. i like it
Mate, do the hard one, stick it in the seat. I'm not sure what'd look better as i don't have an opinion either way but don't shy from the hard stuff. Have a go!!
I say depending on what the seat is built like, put it in the seat. My original seat had a large solid pc of steel in the rear with springs attached to the top. If yours is the same, cut the steel and the vinyl for the light, and bolt the lens on from the outside.
