Muffler Options for CB350. Suggestions?

Hey all:


I'm looking to replace my stock mufflers on the CB350. I've looked around the forum, but would like to hear what you all have actually had success with. I considered the CL high pipes instead, but I think I want to keep the stock headers or go 2-into1. I have the red UNI pods from DCC and I have rejetted the stock carbs to work with those. I was looking at the shorty mufflers from DCC as they seem like an affordable option until I can afford a nice 2-into-1. Has anyone had any experience with these? Or, is anyone looking to unload a fairly priced 2-into1? Let me know! Thanks guys.

FWIW, I love my MAC 2-1. I have used the shorty's and they work just fine. I'd save up and go for the 2-1 though. WELL worth it.

yeah i waited and just checked ebay everyday for weeks. eventually an old mac 2/1 came up that i picked up for $80 shipped. just a little rust on the outside that i sanded and painted flat black. the shorties are used by thousands of vintage riders though so you certainly cant go wrong there. my issue was that i wanted rearsets which usually can work with dual mufflers but you never really know till you have them on and i didnt want to chance it.
