PS. I'm at Cadwell on the 27th, if you happen to be at a loose end and fancy a run out on your bike why not pop along and say hello, you can't miss my bike it's the one in my signature picture and I have a big yellow Iveco van. I'm hoping the weather holds out for the day. Cheers Karl

Would have loved to come up to Cadwell. But I'm stuck in Saudi working on the rigs! Not back till week next Wednesday.
BUGGER............
Best of luck for Monday. What series are you racing?

Not a series, just a trackday. No racing allowed....officially.. ;)

Sorry mate got the dates rapped around me neck!!
British super bikes are up there today (26th)
When you’re "stuck in the middle of the desert with a horse with no name"
I tend to loose time!

That thing is amazing looking. I wish my old CX would have come close.
Hey thanks, I'm sure it could have done if you've had a big enough grinder!

A very good mate of mine put this on his Z1000 special he's building and I knew I had to have one for the bike.
Hope this works.....here's the video

whats the info on the keyless hes using? ive been debating on doing this myself but have had some mixed reviews and people using cheap kits.. nothing like getting stranded because you are a tech nerd.. hah

This system is a proximity reader for access control on industrial doors that he has adapted. It’s a small 12 volt system.

Next time you go to a nice hotel and they have the card type door lock, take a screw driver with you, pop the door handle off, and there you go…..Keyless entry for your bike!!!

Of course I do not wish anyone to do this, as this would be stealing and that is just not right!

WoW!

Just got here after seeing some pics on the CX500 forum I frequent.

Looking around here I see I won't have as much spare time as I used to.

Inspiring.

Stan

This ruins the whole thread for me

this is an awesome build I hope you get your electrical done soon, and that you win that uk competition. I especially liked the shock idea, at first glance it's almost like it's magic or something keeping that swingarm there I love it, I'm going to try to incorporate it into my bike.

I'm sorry you feel this way. Didn't someone once say?
"He who takes offense when offense was not intended is a fool........”
