Finally after 4 rebuilds, got my engine to stay together. Runs mint. Only thing I have left to do is fit my alloy CR tank and bump seat.

Comments welcome. Total cost including bike was 1500 bucks.

How much more of a 'reach' is it going to be to the handlebars with that new tank? Looks like more of a stretch than with the stock tank, or is it just my eyes?

Looks like a good 6" of reach added. The curves at the back of the tank and seat really match well. Has a truly custom vibe to it.

More of a reach for sure. It'll be ridden more like a crotch rocket. I'll have to move the foot controls back too.

I did some welding and rewiring. (man i hate wiring).

Fabbed up the seat mount and tank mount. Just have to solve the tail light and I should be off riding. I'm going to spray bomb the frame for the summer and get the frame powdercoated in the winter. Then paint the seat and tank in honda CR450 colors.

I welded up a bracket for adding an 06 gsxr 750 steering stabilizer, then fixed it to the forks with a ebay'd part.

I think it works good.

Finally dialed in. It'll stay like this until winter and then she'll get totally painted. Even my nasty head and jugs.
