My 78 GS750

I'm kind of in the same boat. To me, it seems like that gauge cluster sticks about 3 feet in the air. I'm looking around for analog mini speedo & tach.

Wheels turned out great. Same diameters? What rear hub did you use? I may have missed it.....

The wheels are GS1000 wheels. They are exactly the same diameter and width as Suzuki GS mags. Thus making them an easy swap, they use the same rotors, same cush drive, spacers, everything. So I was able to keep my 6 month old Avon Roadriders.

I painted the rims with Duplicolor's wheel paint. Lots of good reviews on this paint being extremely durable on the car forums. It is very tough, I only put one small nick in it when I slipped with a tire spoon. I touched it up with a toothpick, and I dare any one to find it. The key to the Duplicolor rim paint I read is preparation. The wheels have to be extremely sanitary, I used a glass beading cabinet to prep them.

you can't really tell, but if you look at the two pictures you will notice the cluster is a little lower now. I put 1.5" spacers between the cluster and the clamp. I am still working on some ideas in my head.
