You can do better.

I'm going more for the "Holy shit, is that a colander?" look then the "Hey, nice craftsmenship!" one.

man i am all about doing it yourself but rat does not mean ugly and slacker, i mean you didint even paint it or cover it, or hide the mounts, i hell at least clean up the cuts in it... it is a good start but a long way from done IMO

Totally awesome seat and totally in keeping with the econo-mod look or should that be eco -cafe. First rule is re-use and it is a re-use all right.

And the craftsmanship is in a class of its own - as it should be for such a rare piece neo-traditionalist work.

What do I think of it? I think it's an amusing piece of irreverance and out of the kitchen box thinking. ;)

What i feel about it is not suitable for publication. ::)

I agree. You know something is fucked when Joe tip-toes into the negative side of constructive criticism.

And really no harm. I know I can always do better.

Here is something to shoot for:

From the builder of this seat..."Take a wok lid. Cut and bend to shape. Rivet to slightly cut-down original seat pan."
