Love Ramblers! I'm working on restoring a 1965 Ambassador 2 door. I think when I'm done with it I'm going to pick up an American to tinker with.

Sweet ride man! Looks like it's in really good shape too. You just don't see cars like that in england, it sucks! :(

Thanks guys. Love any old bastard or underloved car. Ramblers, Nash's, Studebakers. Anything odd or ugly. It's funny the comments I get on the laced top. People either love it or hate it. One guy was looking it over while we were talking. He came to the top and commented "Hmm, well that's unfortunate". C'est la vie I suppose. I'll get around to posting the mini. It's turned cold here and that means I can't drag my ass off the couch. ;D

Nice ride, I like the odd cars too. Do people always guess wrong what it is? My 67 Falcon has been called a Mustang, Dart, Nova, Corvair...etc.. :)

Re: My cage: six six rambler

i couldn't see the pics before, so I just posted for the mini pics, but the rambler is mint!

Yeah, people always ask if it's a Chevy II. I guess I can see that, I guess. ;) Well, the sun has finally came out here, and I'm emerging from a prolonged alcohol induced coma, crawling off the couch to get some work done. Snapped some pics of the mini today and thought I'd throw them up. It's a (ahem, cough, cough) 1966 Mini Cooper with a 997cc engine. I have a 1275cc dual carb motor for it, but god only knows when I get around to dropping it in. When I get tired of dumping oil in the 997, I suppose.

Love the Rambler. Had a '68 440 American back in the '90s an I couldn't stop anywhere without someone sharing a Rambler story. my wife loves the Mini and if I can get her off the Trans Am kick she's on, I might do up a Mini. After the bikes are done of course!

Both cars are insane! That Rambler wins my heart though. I've never even heard of it. Thanks for posting.

That Cooper "S" motor in there, people will think it's a Chev, especially when you leave them sitting in the dust!
