My CB 350

I've pissed off a few SV650 guys at Shannonville with my little 350, oh yeh and 750 Ducs and FZ 400's and FZ 600's and GPZ 550's and GPZ 750's, etc. etc. etc.
Bwahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa!

It's good to hear that the jackasses on some sights are the minority among bikers. When I rode a fullblown sportsbike I always liked the cruisers and vintage bikes.

On another note, the little CB is a screamer, it might not be as fast as a brand new CBR600 but it feels like you're going fast on it which is just as good. The sound alone makes the experience.

Turn-outs baby!!.. she gotta be wearing Turn-outs...A bike with Turn-outs is like a chick wearing stelettos!!

Well, it just gave me the first problem. When coming up to a stop sign or light it dies. It cranks right back up and runs fine but then at the next stop it dies again.

These are just the sort of fun to figure out items that caused me to buy an old bike. The carbs are good so I'm thinking it might be a timing issue. Who knows when this bike was last timed. Then again, I don't have a lot to base my decision on other than knowing it sat and that my guess is the previous owners never timed it.

Make it a mean cafe and gives those plastic fantastic guys something to fear ;D

My CB450 is almost ready to do just that ;D

OK, I'm getting close now to have this thing safe for the street. I got the tires mounted on the wheels tonight and will get them on the bike in the next two days. While doing that I will replace the brakes and front brake cable and then it's ready.....or at least ready for now.

The only wild card is I haven't started it since last Thursday which always makes me nervous. Once I start putting things back together the battery will go back on the charger and then, hopefully, it will fire right over like it has since Greg from OhioCaferacers.com gave it back to me.

Then it's off for a summer of riding before starting the real project cafe racer work over the winter. That's when I'm going to pull it off of the road. No reason to lose my first summer of riding in six years. The little screamer (it's loud) has a home and even when I move on to "bigger and better" I hope I have the sense to keep it.
