Hey guys,
I've been creeping around on this site for a little while now and figured that its time for a proper introduction. I picked up a 75' cb360t back in october in Toronto from a friend and have been making small progress on the bike ever since. This is going to be my first bike and with this beautiful weather we've been getting in Ontario, I'm that much more motivated to get going on this bike!!!

The bike had been sitting around for at least 5 plus years through all the elements of nature un covered. Right now i think the best mod that it has is moss growing from the rip in the seat! very natural.

Haha awesome man.

I've been reading just about every page of this forum for a couple months, and I too have a 1975 CB360T. In fact, just made my first post in member intro's.
It's a little crazy that we're doing the same thing now. And I'm with you on the warmer weather - I should be able to get some paint down soon

Mine's all torn down and should be kind of complete by may. looks great

Awesome man! This site is definitely a wealth of information in regards to these bikes!!

I actually have a question if anybody has an answer, If the two dot's for the recall have not been punched, can I still go and get the recall? My friend seems to be 100% sure that Honda has to honour the recall... I hope so!!!

Finally drove this beast around the shop yesterday...... JESUS is she ever loud!! Can't wait to meet up with you toronto folks and contribute to the noise!!!

still got a couple issues that need to be sorted out, but she is almost there. Keep popping fuses and the battery doesn't seem to recharge while riding around... any suggestions?

I had to replace my fuse box on my 360. Haven't popped a fuse since. Take a volt meter and measure voltage at your battery with the bike running about 35K. If it is anything less than 13 volts, replace your alternator. If you have proper voltage then you need to clean your wire connections and ground. maybe replace wires. Also go to the updated voltage regulator. i don't have the link handy, but some searching will point you in the right direction.

You can also test your rotor vs. the stator (the rotor is the spinning part - stator sits over the rotor and has brushes that contact the rotor). If you have a charging problem make sure you do things like clean the rotor surface with some fine sandpaper (lightly) to ensure good contact with the brushes - replace the brushes possibly, test and replace the regulator and/or rectifier... all of this is a lot cheaper than replacing the rotor and/or stator as a complete unit.

alright, so I have a question about my 360...

It still isn't in perfect running condition (all I need really is a new rectifier) but I have recently discovered a new problem and I want to know if it is worth continuing with the investements.

Something is seriously F!@#$ed with the kick start. When I kick it, sometimes it grips, and other times it just goes right through like a hot knife in butter. I thought it might have been that it wasnt screwed on tight enough so I checked, and it was fine and none of the "teeth" were run down, so I can only assume its within the engine.

Once I get the rectifier in, the electric start should be all I need right? RIGHT?! I hope so because I heard its a shitty job having to replace the whole kick...

any comments or recommendations?
