my CL 175 build

hello im a new member but long time viewer. here is my build on my little project bike and soon the be daily driver. i bought it for 400 bucks it was sitting in a back yard for a couple of years. i got it to start up but needed the carbs cleaned and tuned also new points, new filters. its at the shop right now getting fixed hope fully ill get it back later this week. i took off a lot of extra parts and chopped the fenders, put drop handlebars and lil things here and there. here is some pics of how it looked when i got it and how it looks now. the last pic is what i want to turn it into.

I just picked up a cheap little 175 too so I'm glad to see yet another one on here (checkout the "DTT Build Collection" subthread for lots more). Cool looking mockup. Are you a designer by trade?

That rendering is really well done. Do you do any other types of drawing? Any chance of getting a high-res copy for desktop art?

What are you planning to do with the pipes? Extend them and bang in baffles?

Very nice! both bike and drawing. Is that water color? or is the whole thing with markers?

for the mufflers im planning on extending it with a straight pipe but keeping the guards on them.

I finally got my bike back. It still needs some work like a new valve cover gaskit. If anyone know where I can find one let me know. And I have aftermarket filers on it so it won't idle, but that's not to big of a issue I just got to ride it like a dirt bike. It's a blast to ride tho.
