You know, the more I see of these, the more I want one. Very cool.

The CX doesn't get a lot of love and that's too bad...kind of a neat bike.

I wish these bikes did get some more love. They really are a cool scoot. But I do wish they were chain drive tho. Oh well, looking good!

The photo with the "Ugly" tail light was just a test to see how it would look. The more I look at it; it does need to go. I ordered a "Interstate" fiaberglass seat from Roc City; should be here next week. I plan on some modifications to it so that it will go with the frame tubes and not have a big gap under the seat between the seat base and the top frame tube.

So I'm kicking myself now.....
A couple years ago I read a short bit on a kat that had grafted Sportster cylinder and heads onto a CX650. If my math is correct (and it always is...HA!) he ended up with a 766cc aircooled twin. It looked pretty good when I saw it but needed finishing.
Unfortunately i can't find anything about it now...
Heck, even your short stroke CX500 would still end up around 608cc and I'm sure FAR faster. You know.....just a thought...HAHA!

Looking real nice and clean, can't get over that giant taillight though!

A good friend of mine picked up a CX as a fun little project to go along with his two 78 CB750s, hasn't done much to it but they are really neat and interesting looking bikes, I love the loops on those frames! Engine setup is so strange compared to the straightforward sohc4s!
