Those are all great bikes, but I love that Beemer. If you ever feel like giving that away I'd take it as my daily.

Way back when, I started this thread and my daily was my ZRX1100. These days I'm hardly riding the Z and I'm using the YZF750R as my gas and go bike. I love it.

F800gs is my daily.
Love this bike it does everything pretty well.

It's not a perfect highway bike but it does just fine at 80 for as many hours as I can stand it.
It's not a perfect off-road bike but it doesnt mind being dropped and it goes where I point it(usually)
It's not a sport bike but its quick

It's a true jack of all trades and I love that. I can run it 3 hours down the highway then hit a single track or a forest road and keep on going.

Maybe one day I'll have an 800GS. Then again, I can't really have things without fucking them up like my daily-

Aside from the one time it shorted out because of where I routed the ignition switch wires, it's been cruising along like a champ. I've maxed out at 97.1 mph, so I don't know really what it can do. That was good enough for me. Though, I still need to test it out on some technical single track. My poor airhead is being neglected.

It's hard eh? Once you get one done, you play with it the most and the others sit and wait.
