Been Around the Block
Just thought I would show you guys my new front fender (mudguard over here in the UK).
It is the standard CB550K3 front fender, which has been chopped as it had bad rust on the rear part.
I drilled out the rivets holding the fender to the brace moved the fender backwards until I was happy and then redrillled the fender to accept the brace. The reason for the drilling of the rivets and moving it back was so I could keep the front profile of the original fender (idea found on a post on this site by user Matt365).
I then took the rear fender stay, cut it to size and drilled a couple of holes in it and attached it to the back of the fender (the cut bit).
I am really happy with how it has turned out.
