Funny thing is that I'm an Asian guy and some of my friends are japanese, korean, chinese....whatever.... We use the term jap some of the time "Rob,.....yeah....he's a jap dude, and his chick is korean." And the Japanese friends say the same sometimes.
But as i read the the response above......I was like "whoa......" Funny how double standards work.

Dibs if you decide to deep six that seat. Getting ready to start on a KZ650CSR a friend is picking up. He wants to hard tail it, I'm hoping to talk him into a period swing arm chop instead. If you decide to keep the seat, and I wouldn't blame you since it would make great shop wall art, I'll just build one off the stock seat pan.

I think I'm going to pick up another horrible looking CB and put all the parts I took off and place it on that bike in the future. It would be cool to have a period bike.

I just read the Pinstriping thread and the ART creativity juices started flowing through my brain. I was thinking about going Ornamental Conifer on the 500 here. I was given the idea a while back when I was working on one of my vintage vespas. Heres a couple pics of MAGNETIC WIERDO. I was thinking do kinda the same motif. MOTO MAGNETIC WEIRDO. whatcha think?

Well it's been a long time...about a year riding the way it's been since I kind of finished Franky bike. But it's now high time I listen to scruffy and ringo. I'm ordering a few things to get it back (sort of) to how it was. It'll be slow process, as I want to recreate the tank and other bits. It'll be pseudo chop with some newer touches such as more progressive tires. Here's a pic of how he sits now and a mock of the old king n queenie seat on Franky.
