Well I saw it on craigslist and I couldn't resist.....It has under 6k original miles. I already did a bratstyle before with one of these and I just sold it a few weeks ago......so why not start over and do this one! Pretty nice shape all around....Not sure what I'm going to do but its going under the knife one way or the other.....Enjoy the pics....Maybe a cafe-ish or? Here is an inspiration pic of something I like....
well I ordered some handlebars and am looking at getting my original seat redone to look somewhat like this....Not comfy but a looker for sure. Also noticed after this bike sitting for so long and not out and about it needs some new hoses etc....I got some history with it also- an older gent owned it and drove it on some 40 mile round trips in the spring and summer for many, many years. The guy I bought it from had it about a year and used it for his learning bike (in college) had the carbs rebuilt and now shes all mine....!
Well I'm going to do some pics shortly. I got my clubmans finally and I took my carbs out and cracked them open to find that they had been rebuilt, but since it sat for a while needed some cleaning....... it needed a new air filter, new plugs, cleaned the tank, and just needed all around love. I finally am close to getting the air fuel mixture right and spent some time working on that today and it runs pretty damn good. Also took the badges off the tank. I turned a whopping 5700 miles on her today......it was 80 and hot as hell so I thought I would take her for a spin before I put the new bars on her and started sanding her for paint and other things.
pic of clubmans.....Didn't get near the work I wanted to get done on her on my vacation, but a storm messed up the dormer on my roof, so I thought keeping everyone dry was more important!!!!!!
bike progress....I havent been on here and I lost a ton of pics on my pc.....enjoy. Mostly done, but I will shorten the fender and do something with the stock lighting this winter
more pics- I've been riding a lot and havent done a whole lot of updates and have been riding the hell out of it. Seat redone, new bars, paint, etc.....I'm going to get to the rear fender and lighting this winter....turned out out nice.. I finally hit 5800 miles on her the other day. I'll get some pics up of her in the light shortly.
