i realize this is not everyones thing, about 1/10 people in america even know what rally is... but hey i guess, i'll add my cage to the mix.... 2004 1.8T GTi, lifted on bilstein HD's and VR6 springs, 1" H/R spacers, strengthened subframe and braced chassis, skid plate, strut braces, and some pipeworks inside also... 3" turboback exhaust, no cat/muffler... spark arrestor screen, high flow intake ( aka a teeshirt ziptied over the intake inlet ) Hella500 driving/aux lights.... race in SCCA rallycross M2 class.

most VW forums flame me for this car..... sorry you've never heard of RallyCross, that's your loss not mine! haha Bike guys usually get it though.... i prefer function to form and i prefer gravel to manicured blacktop... i dont slow down for speedbumps and i speed up for railroad tracks... Judge me.

Where do you run the car? Not on long island right?
The Tex would not really get that car....I hate the tex...lol
MKV R32 owner here

the tex hates that car.... and not LI, there are never any rallys on LI, i try to make it to as many of the NER region events possible, new hamp, vermont, conn stuff usually... full spec cage and rally NY or USRT stuff isnt in the budget at the moment : (

I can dig it. First rally car I drove was an N Class Polo. The two point slow is a decent engine in that little beast.

I used to be up by the black river stages, always worked as a marshal while I was up there

i wish i could do the stage stuff, i just dabble in the snow covered parking lot runs at the present budget i have to work with haha a set of blizzak's on steelies is my whole stockpile haha

That car rocks, should try the Targa NFLD some time with it! Kind of a long drive though from LI. The worlds bst drivers come from Rally, you have to learn to control a car in every possible surface etc. It is just cool.

all about that budget right meow... SCCA is cheap and welcoming! haha but i'll look into it for sure thanks! HOONIGAN for life.
