6 dumb as shit cops, 1 leather vest wearing biker, score one for the biker, 360,000 views so far, makes me want to visit the scumshine state is all i can say (no offence intended to those who live there and have to put up with this sort of shit)

is it just the harley boys copping this crap or are the filth up there going batshit crazy on all of you?

also saw a post from neevo that the sydney cops are cracking down on those damn pod filter users, what will we try and get away with next.............

it was that evil leather vest that did it, he must have been up to no good, or maybe he was using unauthorised high octane petrol...the bastard
one thing i've gotto say though, i would have edited my name and address out of the video before posting it, he just told everyone where his bike spends its nights, and not everyone out there in cyberworld is as nice and law-abiding as what we are

I watched it earlier today in connection with an article in The Guardian online; http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jan/13/queensland-veterans-bikers-group-claims-members-pulled-over-by-police

The cops need no encouragement to harass motorcyclists, it's been going on for as long as I can remember. At least we have the possibility these days of recording the incident, so it's not just our word against that of the boys (and girls) in blue.

Whether Jamie Evans is a good-guy or a bad-guy is beside the point; he was being harassed (pulled over 21 times, two (failed) infringement notices!).
It takes a stand-up kind of bloke to resist this, as it is probably going to lead to a vendetta against him.

And it's not just Jamie: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/nov/07/bikie-laws-first-bandido-brawl-now-qld-premier-battling-judiciary
Other riders, totally unconnected to any patch-wearers, have also felt the effect of this politically driven charade.

If any of the other state leaders think that there are any votes in it it won't be long before the idiocy spreads.

Crazy

yeah, i'm surprised our good god fearing leaders down here haven't got on the bandwagon, maybe they've got enough on their plates, they're evn going relatively light on the East-West Tunnelroetesters.
but they seem to be being a bit smarter about it, they seem to actually wait for the bad boys to commit a crime then go in and bust only them (mind you, blowing the doors off a clubhouse with explosives may have seemed a little over the top), none of the harley riders i know have been hassled just for riding an HD

it would have been hilarious if the gas station got robbed in the background while those browshirts were harassing that guy

I suspect there's more here than meets the eye.
I thought all the cops handled themselves downright professionally. No anger, no threats, just calm rational questions.

7 cars is way overkill to be sure, but having been pulled over 21 times id say that this guy is most likely a known criminal (who is apparently smarter than they are haha)

Of course it's possible that he really did get pulled 21 times just for wearing a vest, if that's the case screw em haha.

I've never been harassed for being on a bike, in fact quite the opposite. The times I have been pulled over they were friendly, respectful and interested in the bike.
Hell we got pulled at barber last year for going around do not enter signs and concrete barriers in town, I did not have a motorcycle endorsement on me at the time and the cops checked for warrants and told us to be safe and have a good day. And the other cops were takin pictures of our bikes from behind the cop car haha.

the only time they take photos over here is when they haven't got enough time to write down all the registration numbers as we go past (or they're too fuckin' illiterate to be able to read and write)

I have been very careful when riding around lately. Since I am living on the Gold Coast, the supposed "centre" of all the current mess the cops are going nuts pulling people on bikes over.
Surprisingly enough I have not been yet. But then again my SR isn't exactly the kind of bike they are looking at pulling over.

On New Years Eve I thought I was done for, I had previously busted the muffler off because of a poor grade weld I had done and since I was late for work I decided to run it open. Not only did the noise piss me off but it seemed to do the same for everyone else. I finished work at 10pm and was rushing home to go out. Might have been doing a few to many kms over the speed limit in the process.
I pulled up a set of lights only to have a police van full of cops pull up next to me. Not only did I feel intimidated (previously having been beat up by 4 cops) but every single one of them where staring at my bike and then back to me.

Lucky for me they were on the opposite side of the bike to the exhaust so all they got a look at was a dirty old chain guard and a bloke on the edge of shitting his pants. The light went green and I potted off at a suspectly low speed. I think I was in 4th by the time I got to 60kph. After I was out of ear shot I down changed and got out of that area as fast as I bloody well could.

On another note, up here most of the bikies are just beefed up gym junkies that want to pick a fight with anyone that looks at them the wrong way. So really there isn't much of a difference between them and the local police. In fact there are quite a few under investigation because of their links to "bikie gangs"

If it wasn't for the difference in uniforms it would sometimes be difficult to tell them apart!

Brothers in steroid abuse.
