My T500...nearly finished!

Um...what?
DTT BOTM WINNER
I've got a bit of debugging and carb tuning to do, but my 1975 Suzuki T500 is basically finished (for now at least!). For those of you who didn't follow the build thread, here's the highlights:

0.5mm OS pistons
rebuilt crankshaft
Powerdynamo electronic ignition
1972 GT750 4LS front drum brake
18" shouldered aluminum rims front and rear
Buchanan stainless steel spokes
Titan Performance expansion chambers and rearsets
Roc City Cafe custom tank and bodywork (tail and fender modified by me)
Powdercoated frame
Ceramic coated headers
Acewell digital gauge

Lots more that I can't think of right now. :)

Dayyyum! lookin slick as hell wings! I would love to see and hear a vid of her running.

Sounds great man, bike is pure class. Love everything about it. Digi tach is super cool too. Does the tach still have a revolving input shaft to measure the rpm's.

Thanks so much. :) The tach has a wire that wraps around one of the plug leads. It's a little jumpy right now, but there are a few things I can do to try and smooth it out such as changing the # of wraps and adding a diode in the line.

Sean @ Roc City Cafe deserves all the credit for the tank. He also did the tail and front fender. I modified those to fit the bike and look I wanted but the tank was a drop on fit. Amazing considering that Sean didn't have a T500 frame to work with, only my stock tank, some pictures of the frame, and a few dimensions that I sent him.

So many thanks to Sean for all his hard work. IMO, the tank really makes the bike.

I don't want to take credit for work I didn't do, so here's a list of others who contributed to the project:

Roc City Cafe: Tank, tail, front fender
Bill Bune Enterprises: Crankshaft rebuild and cylinder boring/honing
Titan Performance: Expansion chambers and rearsets
ProKote Indy: frame powdercoating and header ceramic coating

:)

What a beautiful looking bike, very nice indeed.

And what a great sounding bike also, wow it gives me shivers hearing it.

On one of my laps around the block yesterday a little girl riding a tricycle stopped and covered her ears...my neighbors are going to hate me. ;D ;D ;D

Here are a few pics a friend sent me of the bike at Rocker's Reunion in Indy:

Rocker's Reunion was a blast (except for the weather) and the T500 came home with Best Cafe Racer! Many thanks to the Indy Ton-up Club and all the event sponsors.

My T500...nearly finished!

Best of show went to the orange bike parked a few spots down from mine. It was nice meeting you as well. :)

That orange bike must of been amazing to get best of show over your T500! Your bike is awesome.
