I have my Cb175 in all kinds of pieces. I forgot what this is and where it goes. It was bound to happen. Anybody know what it is?

It belongs on the back of the clutch adjuster, on the side cover.

I agree with brad. It looks an awful lot like a 60s-70s chevy distributor hold down clamp.

It fits on the left crank case and is used to help retain the clutch actuator.

ACM177, I think you cracked it. I thought it went with one of the side covers but couldn't remember for sure. Thanks for the help guys. Next time, which I am sure there will be, I will have a ruler for scale.
