This was the first movie I ever saw in a movie theater. Now, I own it on DVD an watch it often.

Silver Dream Racer was the movie that really got me hooked on sport bikes. Black Rain is one of my all time favorites.

"The Rookie" with Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen" has neet bikes. "The Gumball Rally" has Lapchick the mad Hungarian in a prominant role ;D

A very close friend of mine introduced me to this movie. Not exactly about motorcycles but the guy does ride a Norton through half the movie!

so, the number of neat-o motorcycle movies i have in mind should make this thread about 20 pages.. here's another!

One Man's Island
Looks like an excellent documentary. Man wants to fulfill his childhood dream to ride in the Isle of Mann TT. So, he gives up his job, house, and life-savings to go for it!

I can't believe we've made it this far into a thread about motorcycle movies w/o mentioning MadMax.

Girl Boss Guerilla - 1972
trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH-0tLGWgcI
movie: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1882564033940765992#
could never work out the plot of this one, but it's pure b grade pulp with a bundle of 70's japanese motorbikes

Dvdmaniacs.net singles out Miki Sugimoto's performance for praise, and says of the film, "Plenty of topless biker girl action, some killer fight scenes, a great score and even a few cool scenes with vintage motorbikes make this one a complete blast. Fast paced with plenty of period kitsch... coupled with the plentiful amount of naked ladies make the movie a visual treat, and the story clicks along at such a great pace that it's not dull, even for a second.

i figured mad max and quadrophenia were a given, so i didn't post them.

+ on the Road Warrior trilogy, but as much a Who fan as I am, I have never seen Quadrophenia. for shame! How come no one mentioned the classic "Cool as Ice"??? ;)
