Hey gang.
I'm in need of a measurement.
I need to know the distance between the races in the headstock of a Kawasaki Z1/KZ900/KZ1000
(I'm almost positive they are the same 73-78, and likely the same through 82, but I'm less sure on that)
I'm doing a front end swap again, but I lost my documentation from the last time 16+ years ago.
The new stem has a lip on the top race that *may* not let the top bearing drop low enough for my KZ900A4 steering head.
I'd like to know this *before* I pull my bike apart because then it will be stuck without a front end while I track down a machinist.
If anybody has a bare frame laying about that can take a quick measurement I'd be very grateful!
