need help finishing my wiring diagram

alright so i have been reading for days trying to figure out how i should be wiring my voltage regulator into my homemade wiring harness. what you see on the diagram is what i am running. i spent like 2 hours drawing this up but my hang up is the charging system. alternator to rectifier to regulator to battery/ things that need power. i have spent a lot of time feeling retarded about this whole thing and really would appreciate it if somebody could just open this diagram up in microsoft paint and connect the lines where thy are supposed to go.

Black wire off the voltage regulator hooks into Key Ignition Switch "on position" (black wire in diagrams).

I take it from your diagram you are replacing the Key Ignition Switch with a toggle switch of some kind? You're not differentiating between "always hot" (red) feed to your main/ignition switch and "on position" switched power (should be black), which the black wire on the regulator would also connect into.

This thread may also be of use to you.

Not to take anything away from your drawing but how hard can it be to get a service manual with a real wiring schematic?

i have spent hours looking at the cb360 wireing diagram. because i have removed so many components from the factory harness i was just having a really hard time understanding where everything needed to run inorder to function properly, it was mostly because i do not have a keyed ignition, electric starter or anything that would go along with those parts. i wanted t make sure i was getting the proper charge to my battery, and getting the voltage regulator in the right place so i didnt fry anything. i have it sorted now thanks to Honda007, its kind of a cool set up. pretty simple but i understand how it works now and that is what was holding me back. anyway, i will post up the simplified cb360 diagram i have with all the components i used for whoever is interested. i knew just about NOTHING about electronics prior to this so it has been a chalange but i am glad i now at least understand the electronics system on my bike. thanks guys.

Drawing my own diagrams helps me understand how the electrical systems of bikes actually work. Some people learn differently than others.
