need wiring help for RD400

Looking to simplify my wiring. Attached are two diagrams - one that was simplified and the original. Does it look right?

Sorry. I meant to clarify:

The second image posted is the original wiring harness. I'm looking to remove all the non-essential stuff that's no longer on the bike, ie. signals. Just want to know if the new diagram looks sound.

Gonna need to be more specific, I'm afraid. Aside from turn signals, what else are you removing or changing?

Why are you removing wires? Why not just cap off the ends and tuck them back into the harness. Not to sound rude, but if you don't know what you're doing, you should keep the harness as stock as possible to make future repairs easier. YMMV.

You removed the High/low dimmer switch, signals, and signal indicator....You kept the signal flasher?

You should of left the stock wires tucked away.....You can restore later if you wanted to sell....

I would not buy a bike that had the stock harness modified like that....Who know what wires you cut that shouldn't be....IMO.

So what is the arrow pointing to ? and what is the specific item you want to know is correct?

The unmodified wiring diagram looks wrong with the lights... it seems the lights can power the ignition when the switch is in the parking light only position....

Are you sure the unmodified diagram is right?
