Needed: Suzuki gs400 spoked rims

Been Around the Block
for my cafe i need some spoked rims, the mags dont look right for the way im goin with this bike. Rims dont need the tires on it, will trade out the mag wheels if someone is doing reverse of what i am, or wants mags for their project.

I believe it was the GS400T that had the spoked wheels. Only the "T" had them as far as I know, and it seems the "T" was a much less common model than the other GS's. I would think that GS450T wheels would fit, also. I think there were more of the 450's than the 400's, so searching on eBay for GS450T might bear more fruit than searching for GS400T.

I have seen new spoke sets for the GS450T on eBay, too, so if you find a wheel but the spokes and rims are rusty, you can get the spoke sets and lace new rims on the hubs.

More on this please. I need to work on my wheels, they are looking rusty. If the center part/hub is good, i know i can get lace kits, but I thought that was only the laces, not the rim too? That be GREAT!

Just do a search on eBay. They are there.
Any number of sources should be able to provide rims for the application.

After you unlace your wheels, you can do a really nice job fixing up the hubs. I'm a fan of polished aluminum, myself.

What size are your current wheels?

Suzuki used the same disc brake front hub for a long time and between a lot of models. The rear hub can be a little trickier though. If you can't find a rear T hub, try to find out if a hub from a GT model will work.

thanks for the help!

Rich they are 18's, dont much care about width. About the disk brake, if the front wheel had an expanding brake i wouldnt mind, actually id prefere it, cleans up the controls alot.

I am going to a place near me that has a yard full of old bikes. they should have some sort of spoked rims there. taking measurements tomorrow, on all aspects of the wheels, i could possibly get other makes rims to work.
