Needing std. size CB500t rings

Doing a rebuild here and trying to keep costs down, of course. We needs rings and needs 'em cheep.

Looking to get one package deal, meaning two upper compression rings, two lower compression rings, and two sets of oil rings.

By chance, is there another compatible set of rings? In the past I've had the rare luck of finding another piston with exactly the same groove diameter and height...

Thanks

Search the hondatwins forum - IIRC there were a couple guys that found a whole piston swap that ended up being less expensive than NOS rings.

Thanks mate. Found a link on the forum that wasn't absurdly priced and have them ordered now.

What are we going to do when parts for these things run out? This is the stuff that keeps me up at night. Actually, at this point I don't even sleep. I just work to the point that the fumes knock me unconscious, then do it again.

I wonder the same thing.
Eventually there wont be any more NOS stuff.
Why the hell did they produce so much of it to begin with, so much that its lasted this long?
