That explains a lot, glad I'm not the only one with load of 'spare' parts ;D
 
I knew the perfect tank was close but it wasnt there yet. i fought with getting it to sit on the frame right just long enough to not care about the time i had in it thus far. Sooo i cut the tunnel back outta it and took another inch outta the height and built another tunnel. i got it all back together, its the best champion style flat track tank 37 bucks can buy.

Cut much more of it out and that CF seat is going to tip the bike backwards
 
Haha lowes i tried and tried to get it all the way in but it wouldnt go so i decided to finish the bike

started to paint the motor and and got the bottom of the frame cut in big metal flake silver
