So I got sent here from the SOHC4.us forums after a discussion about the fiberglass seatpans I'm making.
Anyway, I'm Paul, I live in Pittsburgh, and I'm new to motorcycles in general, but I've decided to jump in headfirst with two(!) cafe projects; my bike is a 77 CB550F that I bought as a non-runner from a friend who'd had it under a tree in his yard for a year and a half. It's coming along nicely, I think, and I'll post pictures in the other forum. The second bike is my girlfriend's, which she's doing most of the work on herself. It's a 74 CL350 that she got for $1, and is also obviously a non-runner. With the way we're trying to buy bikes at this point, I feel like we're turning into the Western Pennsylvania Vintage Bike Rescue League.
Anyway, it's nice to find a forum full of people into the same ideas. Glad to be here.
