Just got a nice '75 cb500t ... 100% stock, all there, runs pretty good. Was going to go the cafe route, but the more I look at it, the more I think I should leave it stock and clean it up. Decisions, decisions.... Anyway, can anyone tell me if cb450 pipes will bolt on to a 500?

I have a 76 cb500t i run cb450 pipes clubman bars reverse mega phones sound's great most 450s parts fit the 500t

Sure, keep things stock. It's a nice bike BUT one slight mod that you will not regret: Dyna ignition booster. Totally worth the price. I think I paid $50-$70 for mine a few years ago for my '75 CB500T

Here is mine.

I know its been a while, but here is the finished 500t. Sold that one in June, and just got another one to play with.

Hi,
It is a nice one. Please, can you post a picture from the other side of the bike ?
I am working on same project and I'd like your impress about the rear set footpeg put in place of passenger one. Isn't it to high ? Is it easy to drive ?
Thanks for your help.

its not too bad as is, but I would move the pegs down and forward a bit on the next one.
