Been Around the Block
Hiya guys,

Looking for a way to get the most out of the 125cc I'll be driving for the coming two years I ran into this site. I'm planning on doing a cafe conversion of my Suzuki GN125. I never worked with or on things that go boom, as I always got around my bikes with pedals, but I'm eager to learn and don't think there's a better place to learn than here.

I already have a thread in the general cafe racer project section and will soon make a thread in the Tanks & Seats section because I want to glass and upholster my own seat and will need all the help I can get!

Hi Tijmen,
Great plans! if you want to i can help you with the fiberglass project. Mayby we can meet some day to help each other!

Cool, I have a general idea of what to do but could use some pointers on what to buy and where to buy it. Also haven't quite figured out how I will attach the fiberglass to the frame. Exam is planned for the 15th of march, so she won't be leaving my backyard until then (got quite a scare from a friend of mine who won't be able to get his license for quite some time because he was caught driving without one) so frame modifications will have to wait until then because I can't weld at home. But we should meet up sooner than in a month! Where are you getting your parts? I might be ordering some stuff from DCC somewhere in the next couple of weeks, we could share the shipping costs if you need stuff too?

Yeah thats a great idee, didnt bought any parts jet, but i am planning on bying some clip ons soon, so sharing shipmant cost is a great idea! btw where in Rotterdam do you live? i live near the "meent"
