hello, all. i'm fresh outta the marine corps (5 years in) and back home. i just started my first cafe project(s), a '73 suzuki gt250 (basket case) and a '74 gt250 complete and in running order. my last 2 bikes were an '03 gsxr 600 (original, right?) and a 1997 yamaha yzf600r (it was a salvage project i got for nearly free and rebuilt from frame up). i am about to start college (as soon as i get my gi bill certificate of eligibility). my goal with the two bikes is to keep one basically original looking and make the other a cafe. i love the raw mechanical look of old bikes, but wouldn't be caught dead on a harley (no offense to HD guys, i like lookin' at 'em, i just don't want one). i have a lot of knowledge about things mechanical in nature and will help whenever i can, and i am sure i will need your advice/ knowledge as well (thanks in advance!).
