How you doing guys!

I've been lurking around for over a year now, reading everyone elses threads.

I traded a VW bug for a barely running CB360 over a year ago that had been spray bombed something horrible(including the carbs), had wiring that looked like it was done by a mad scientist, and was just in overall bad shape.

2 weeks later, I picked up another running CB360 from a guy for 260 bucks that had sat under a tarp in Washington for about 4 years. He put a spark plug in a little bit off and crossthreaded it, so he dropped it from 300 bucks lol. Even with the plug not in right and after sitting all that time, it kicked over on the 3rd kick and sputtered like a champ. Sadly, no title for it.

Ended up putting the first one I got in my old 2nd floor apartment dining room (wife did NOT like that at all), stripped the other down to just frame wheels and motor, and now there both sitting in the garage at our house.

And thats where I stand now lol. Un-started projects :)

Oh, background on me: I'm 23, originally from Baton Rouge, LA and Madison, MS; grew up tinkering with go-karts and minibikes (if it has wheels and pistons, my old man has either driven it, had it, or built it).

Joined the army at 19, now I'm working on turbine engines for helicopters at Joint Base Lewis McChord (formerly Fort Lewis).

Before my motorcycle safety course, I'd never ridden anything bigger than a little 80cc moped and minibikes, so my 360 is something relatively safe for me to learn on.

Quoting Mr. Gump, "... and thats all I have to say about that..."

Welcome trey, Its always goo to see someone else on here from Washington. There are a ton of us with 360's, so if you have questions just ask.

you traded a what?? Ah man, I don't know about you but I would restore that beetle. Anywho... welcome :)

The beetle was one hell of a fun toy! Baja kit, cut turned front suspension, 32" mudders on the back, dyna ignition and coil, stinger open exhaust on a stock 1600 dual port with a weber 32/36 carb... such a blast to drive. It cruised at 80 better than 60 (very strange I know... I even used a GPS zip tied to the steering wheel to make sure the speedo wasn't off) and would do donuts through 3rd gear in the dirt. Haha, I miss it a lot.
