Hey, new guy here from Va. Used to ride back in the day, and lookin to get back into it. I've been looking on craigslist for a bike and came across a 1989 honda nighthawk 750. Hes asking only $200 for it and heres why. Apprently his buddy put a gas/oil mixture in the tank about three years ago after that he just stuck it in his backyard. So aside from exposure to the elements, my question is how bad is it to have put that mixture in and ran it?

I don't have a definitive answer, but I think that would just stop it from running (improper combustion). Chances are, there's something else stopping it. I wonder if the oil could not compress and blow the head gasket? Either way, $200 is $200.

I think i'm gonna pass on it. The guy just emailed me back and said he doesnt have the title for it.

So I got a bike today. It's a 1975 Honda cb200t. It's a little rough, but, it's all there, and it runs. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.
Can't wait to dive into this thing, and start driving some of you crazy with a million questions :D.
