oh yeah, and as for jetting, should not be hard. The carbs are fairly simple, but make sure you stay away from lean conditions, I lost a piston before I realized I was running lean. The 400's don;t get oil to the heads well, Honda changed them in 82 to 450cc and added an oil cooler and oil lines to the head. one thing you can do to shave some weight and add a few HP is ditch the huge cross over under the motor. You will have to re-jet but the jets are like 2.50 ea per carb. I have pods, ditched the cross over, used some straight exhaust pipe to emgo shorties, she is a little loud but not too bad but I have her running well from idle to red-line. I just had to buy a few jet sizes and spend a couple hours changing them out and riding her, doing plug chops until the plugs read the nice golden brown that means she was running right. you can swap jets just by pulling the float bowls and using a flat head screwdriver.

Thanks for the info, Yea the seat had to be able to fit my girlfriend; she started noticing every time I went to see a bike it had no back seat. Oh well, Ill get a bobber someday.....the cm was is first bike so I doubt Ill sell it. Honestly I dont know anything about bikes so I will have to get some work done by Joe real soon, everyone says it is easy but honestly I dont trust myself especially since I have never seen it done.Soooo get ready for me Joe!
 
Glad to see another Chicago guy on here! I just joined yesterday looking forward to taking home the CL175 today.
