Hi everyone I just found this site and have to say that there are some amazing looking bikes and lots of knowledgeable people. I just bought a 1979 Yamaha xs400 (sorry no pics yet) and am thinking about turning it into a cafe racer over next winter. I was surprised to see that so many people on this board have cafe racer xs 400s. Makes me optimistic about what I may be able to make mine into. Once again you guys have a great site and I am glad that I found this awesome resource.

I finally got some time at work to take some pictures. It doesn't look like much now but I am already planning the build for this winter.
