Hey, new member here from Scotland. I've restored a few bikes before but I'm now doing my first cafe racer, have a 1979 Kawasaki KH400 which I originally bought to restore but after looking long and hard at the shape decided it'd make a good cafe racer. Haven't seen many KH's done cafe style and seen even less done well to be honest, I hope to change that though. I'm looking forward to getting feedback from other members, good or bad. :'(

Welcome! My mum and dad left Glasgow in 1966 for America. I have family thru out Scotland and England. It's beautiful country! Welcome to the forum and good luck with the kaw!

Cheers J F, it's a bonnie country right enough and covered with some fantastic biking roads. Had a good look around DTT now, a great place and full of help and inspiration.

Welcome aboard. What a great project you have, it is begging to become a beautiful cafe racer.

Keep us updated with a build thread in the "members' projects" section with lots of photos.
