hiya everyone. i was given this address by a friend who lives in calgary. I liked the bikes on show so i thought i would join and show people my baby, I also thought that i might get some help if i need it with my bike as everyone seems to know alot.
A bit about me .... i am 44 years old and work as a registered nurse, i have not ridden bikes for thirteen years but two years ago i decided to get another one, so rebuilt a very tired cb500 that had been sitting in a garden since 92!
in the past i used to passenger a racing outfit and have raced in the classics on a 350k4 preped by an ex. (He is long gone hence ex) i have a love of old seventies, late sixties japanese bikes and have had loads. After years away trying to be a grown up i have decided to give in (and have a boyfriend substitute)and if i can work out how i will put a picture on as well.

Thankyou fo the welcome, the weather was ok but has taken a down turn ... now we have lots of rain and high winds. Suppose we will have to get used to the strange weather but been at work so havnt reaally seen any outside. I live by the sea in Brighton in sussex so always a but windy, last week i managed to go for a ride nice hot day and also managed to lie on the beach in my bikini and get sun burnt !! Bike is a bit noisy so will have to find a silencer to make it a bit qiueter the police are hot on noise here. In a couple of weeks we have the brighton speed week so lots of bikes about and flash cars. Also the ace cafe reunion comes on a run from london to here so that will be good dont know when that is though. XX
i got the tank from the US, sometimes it is cheaper to get things from US and Canada they tend to be in better conditon than Uk stuff. Parts here tend to rust alot. Got some brand new Raask rearsets to go on the bike aswell. Found them sitting on a shelf in the UK £50 GbP. Good exchange rate to US dollars at the moment. Also i have a Vance and Hines silencer to go on it as well. I have a tame engineer who is good at modifying parts. Flutter my eyes abit and wear a small top ...... works wonders he he ;D
