Hi, just a quick intro.
Been involved in the motorcycling scene for about the past 40 years. Retired Canadian Naval Marine Engineer, spent my spare time repairing, maintaining and customizing motorcycles as a sideline. Been retired for 11 years now, challenged the Motorcycle Mechanics exam and was awarded my inter-provincial ticket back in 2002. Been my own boss working out of my shop on vintage Japanese and British bikes ever since. President of Atlantic Vintage Motorcycle Society since 2004. Did my first cafe bike way back in about 1976...it was a mess, learned a lot since then. My latest cafe project was a bitsa T100 Triumph cafe racer that I did up for myself and am having a blast with. My other bikes are '69 Norton Roadster, '56 Triumph TRW and a '48 Norton Model ES2...all of them get ridden regularly. Looking forward to sharing and learning from other members.
