Hi, my name is Rob. I am a Chop Cult and Jockey Journal member, but was told that this is a great forum for the Toronto cafe racer crowd. I am new to the city, and will be here for the year attending the Army Staff College. I brought my XS cafe racer with me (pics below). I am also into vintage choppers, and have a 1953 Panhead chopper for those who are interested.

At any rate, here is my cafe. 1978 XS650 frame and engine, FZR600 forks and brakes (I think), Mikuni carbs, Benelli tank, cafe seat. A bit of a rat bike, but I would be very interested in getting together for rides, as well as learning about local shops.

I am also fairly new to toronto (since mid january) I have a 71 cb 350 and 84 cb 650 (the 650 i like to ride, but am glad i don't have to look at it while im on it!) Im up for riding with someone.

Welcome guys! There are a lot of us in Toronto (the site was launched almost 5 years ago to organize ourselves for local rides etc.).

Thursday evenings around 8PM at the Tim Hortons at Lakeshore / Leslie is a big weekly gathering of all sorts of bikes. Weather permitting I should be out that night.

We also hang out at the Black Dice Cafe at 1574 Dundas St West - owned by a friend and SR500 rider.

What areas of town are you guys in? Get your pins up on the Member Map - you can zoom in on Toronto to see who's where.

I'm at the Army Staff College - Yonge Blvd (near Yonge St & Wilson)

I will definitely be getting out for some of the Thursday rides. Is the Black Dice open most evenings? Do you get many people there on a weeknight, for instance?

Rob
