New pics of the GL1000

Been Around the Block
Decided to visit my Grandfather today, and shot some pics while in the cemetary:

Anyone think I should try to "cafe" it...not quite cafe material, and it will NEVER be a easily handled bike, but it may look cool.

NICE! I'd love to have one of these monsters! Tons of inspiration here; http://www.randakks.com/Randakk%27s%20Endurance%20Special.htm

There's nothing like riding through an empty cemetery. My family has an old private cemetery in the middle of nowhere that I stopped and saw my grandfather on my last big ride before the tear down. Its kind of creepy that everyone in that cemetery was related to me though.

It may not make a real curve shredder, but it will make a cool looking cafe! I have seen pics of a couple of them done cafe, both were done in a very traditional style with dunstall style seats. It may look good with a manx style seat though! I would be interested in a cafe build, get to wrenching and start a big arse project!

I already have a big arse project, a 1976 CB500T. I disassembled it last October, with all intentions of starting the project when I got out of school (April). Unfortunately, the extra income I was receiving from my internship was redirected when I got laid off from my primary income job. So, now I have a room full of parts, and no money to get them finished (i.e. blasted, coated, painted, etc.) basically, I'm now pulling in about 2/3 what I was previously, and unfortunately, bills still ned paid, and stuff.

give it here, im thinking gl1000 for the next build :)
its hard to see it, but there is some serious potential.
