Nice start man, Is it a cb350? Like the offset gas cap, good if you were putting stripes, if you were into that. Are you planning on making a Cafe?, Bobber?

Suzuki- 750 maybe?

Welcome to the site Frank. Always good to have another Zook getting some tlc.

Oh yeah if u look close u can tell its not a honda, just the clutch cover looked like a 350. But defiantly a Suzuki.

Suzzie is a Suzuki 1982 GS 650. No stripes, however i have other plans that i shall update everyone with when the time is right. Something creative and unique. I have 3 foot long led strips coming in. I just purchased this seat--> . Any of you gentlemen know where i can get a tail light that i can mount into the back? I am like an excited kid on christmas right now. any help or input from you guys would be greatly appreciated. 8)

Haha I know how u feel, believe it or not you can find some nice tailights at farmer/tractor/hardware stores. Nice choice for the seat

Update on my project. Suzzie is coming along little by little.

Welcome to the site. Cool bike. Don't let anyone give you shit about it being shaft driven. While they're in the garage cleaning and lubing their chains, the Suzuki and BMW owners are out riding.

Nice job on the Zook so far, she's come a looooong way already.
Any details on the build you'd like to share? How about questions you need answered?
Hard to tell from the first pic but it looks like it was a "L" maybe a "T"...

Notice I am trying to pump you for more posts? ;)

currently having the tank repainted, seeing as it wasnt prepared correctly when painted the first time. The person i had paint it for me didnt clean the tank with acetone or anything to that effect, so the chemicals reacted with something someone told me was called "fish eye", no big deal. i have learned with this bike that patience will pay off once i have a bad ass looking bike. Help i that can be had goes as follows,
1) I need ideas for directional lights. I like the input of strangers seeing as they do not know me and wont hesitate to tell me if something does or doesnt look good.
2) Handlebar ideas go the same way. The stock bars are starting to bother me. Any help there would be appreciated.
3) L.E.D help, im looking to illuminate my steed. Any help in the department would be much appreciated.

as far as the build sharing, I bought the seat from Roc City Cafe, who is pretty awesome to deal with. The tank was a little beat up so I had the assistance of my father who also recently acquired a motorcycle (2001 Harley Davidson Super Glide Sport). I bought a LED tail light from etrailer.com. I found a nice piece ill have air brushed onto the tank.

o and may I add, would anyone know of anyone who makes Frame Covers for an 82 Suzuki Gs 650? Because lets be honest Suzuki owners, our stock ones are FUGLY. Thanks for the help guys.
