New to DTT

BigKev

Been Around the Block
Hello all,

My name is Kevin, my buddies used to call me Big Kev, although Im only 5'8" its the only nickname that stuck. I recently bought a running/slightly molested 1981 Honda CB750K which came with a nearly complete '81 CB750C as a non running parts bike. Unfortunately I only had time to put 'em up in the shop before I got myself deployed to Afghanistan. So for 6 months I get to do research and order a buttload of new parts! Im not new to bikes but this is my first Honda and I cant wait to completely rebuild it when I get home. I will be sure to include pics and progress reports, hell I'll probably have a few questions to throw out there.

Anyway, I just ordered my first batch of parts from Dime City Cycles and told Chris C. that I would give them a shoutout for such speedy response to my email and friendly attitude. Sad to say I cant comment on the parts yet, I thought maybe I'll have my wife open them and skype me to check them out. Heh, I'm sure they are A1 quality from some of the posts on here and cutomer testimonies.

Regards
-BigKev

p.s. this is the only pic of the bike I have for now.

Welcome to the Site! I'm glad to see yet another CB750 DOHC. Here are a couple builds that I like to watch, and you can view mine from my signature, though I'm still at infancy stages. Looking forward to seeing your build! Let us know once you create a thread in the Projects section!
