New to me CB1000...'The Big One'

Well, I haven't been around for a while due to being swamped at work and just down-right 'busy-ness'. But I did sell the GS, sad to see it go though it went to a good owner. I then found this little gem for a ridiculously low price and had to grab it. 1995 CB1000 completely stock (except for a drop in K and N), full service records (found in owners manual), runs like a top. I put about 150 miles on her last week when we had that quick spurt of nice weather, so very different from the GS in so many great ways. Shes a keeper and will be in the stable for some time...

Very nice, I love those bikes. Hoping to own one some day, sad you sold the GS, that was a sweet ride, but sometimes you have to thin the herd.

Thanks guys, yeah it is so different than the GS, so much more power (obviously). The ride is extremely smooth as well. I have about 2500 miles of trips as well as normal everday commuting scheduled for this spring/summer/fall so we'll see how she does. I ordered Gripsters for the tank and a Corbin seat is in the near future for a little added comfort as well as some saddle bags/touring gear.
