Hello Everyone,
Been a member here for awhile but never posted just a lurker looking at the bikes for some ideals. I pretty much scan this forum and the SOHC site. I live in Owensboro,Ky yeah right down the road from the Hayden Boy's and I'm going to try and get Nicky to take this bike down the rode like the Bostrom Boy's have on Cafe Racer tv.
Ok this bike I have built was started July 6th 2010 and I recently started wrapping it up. I purchased it form a kid who was using it as a clothes hanger in his apartment for 200.00. I'm waiting on my gas cap button and my Dyna that was bad out of the box. The whole bike was done in my little shop making the pipe, drilling, tank and frame mods to keep the flexing out from the 110lbs. I have stripped out. The metal work and paintwork was handled also by myself and the color is a straight black off the mixing machine with just a little purple candy HOC thrown into the clear and the largest Gold flake for the stripes. I was wanting a cross of Cafe/Tracker with that old 50's hardass look that someone like McQueen or Brando could have rode in a movie. I know the Pipe wrap is getting somewhat over used but with me making the pipe and the style I felt it would go with the overall look. I named this pipe the Anaconda being it looks like it has a pygmy in its stomach. Hope you guys enjoy it here it didn't really fit in with the guy's over at the other forum.
Thanks,
Mike
