New to the ton, off to a great start

Been Around the Block
So i am new to the ton, mostly because i dont spend much time on the web. I am currently building two bike 78 CB750, and a 70 CB350. I joined mostly to look at others projects and to buy some odds and ends, and post soulutions to problems i have encountered. Maybe my first post should have been here, but when you see a good deal from a fellow rider, its hard to pass up. Hated on after one post, very cool. Oh what did i post? Simply that i PM'ed the seller. Forgive me for not being on the computer all day posting in every topic, i'm here to view, read and get back to my bike. Lets all be thankful that not all are like this, and many choose to help.

Maybe one day i'll be a "cool guy" and give shit to those who post for the first time. Till then i guess i should find a spot in the dorum to post random bullshit till i gain the respect of those so much greater then myself.

Other then the occasional asswipe (all forums have'em) the site is great, and to say the least is quite a treat, and i also look forward to some the more enthusiastic, less agitated members.

Welcome to the site. Dont worry about the cool guys. You should post some pics of your scoots.

wow was i in a mood! thanks for the welcome guys, after finding out that your top end is somewhat toast and seeing the replies of the above mentioned (from the haters, not the good guys above) can really work someone up! Like i said, i dont use computers much, but lets see if i can figure out how to post pictures!

The pictures above is of my 70 CB350, almost done, but like i said i have to tear down the motor. Post more pictures soon.

welcome sir, don't worry about the d-bags, there are plenty of them everywhere--just as long as you are enjoying getting your hands dirty, thats all that counts. Welcome to the ton, bike looks good man. Keep it up!

Welcome to DTT. I like the look of your bike. Is your tank bare metal? I tried to do that to mine with a clear coat, but it started to yellow, so I had to paint it. Yours looks good anyway.

I'm plenty agitated about a lot of things, but I'll throw out a "welcome" anyways. Cool bike.

Thanks everyone, now thats more like it! Yeah, i took the tank down to raw and cleared it, but with gas spilling on it and other issues, it is only temporary. I really want to put a 68-69 CB350 tank on it or just make my own. We'll see, thanks again guys.

I just looked up the thread you mention. fuck that guy you have put to much thought in to it allready. A post count is just a number, ive been on this site for years and i may not post any thing for week at a time.there are some pretty kool and helpful fokes hear so dont let one dick lick piss you off to bad. welcome

because it seems fitting to put it here. MY first post. im on alot of forums just new to this one. saw the thread your talking about and to many ppl in this world worry about thier number status, friend requests and hits to thier cat videos. for the rest of us getting dirty, sitting in front of the computer is not on our todo list. i bid you a great welcome to the site as i hope to get the same.

I am guessing people who are worried about someone's post count compared to their own are trying to compensate for a lack of displacement somewhere else.

I have always found that when you don't post a lot, you don't post a lot of stupid comments.

Welcome to the board from someone who doesn't post a lot, but gets a lot of good info here.
