Hello, Thought i would finally join the fray here. I'm building a 74 Yamaha TX500 DOHC cafe deal. Its been a ongoing project i work on every now and than over the last 3 years. I'm just now in the position to get it done for summer. I plan on doing a build thread if you guys are interested in it.

So far its been a bunch of idea changes after another. I think i have a final goal in mind now so its time to get it done. I did a mono shock conversion on it. The shock is from a early 2000's Yamaha something. the tubing on the swing arm is all 4130 Chromoly. I extended the tank 4" and narrowed it an inch. The seat pan is just some 18 gauge with the back half of a cb360 tank. I plan on redoing the seat all together cause I'm not very happy with it. It has clubmans and some r6 rear sets on it right now but I'm building my own clip ons and my own rear sets. This thing is a tank, so in my never ending quest of shaving weight ive now decided to go with a aluminum sub frame that will bolt on. So that is some of the plans for it.

I work as a machinist now after years building custom cars and bikes so its opend up a whole new world of fabricating to me. So look for some crazy things on this project. the ideas are endless.

Well i will let the pics do the talking..... Older pics of the Yamaha and some of my past builds.

Look forward to learning more from every one here! 8)
