Newbie from South Africa & 1973 Cb350

Hi folks.

I've spent some time drooling over the bike porn on the forum and feel it is high time that i try my hand and building my dream bike. I've found a 73 cb350 for a great price and i would appreciate any thoughts or opinions on this bike as model for cafe conversion.

$600...agreed alot has to change on the bike - especially the bars.

I see a spray bomb in this things future. Or just hit it with some stars and call it an Evil Kenevil tribute. Nice price though.

@CrescentSon i have been wracking my brain trying to remember what the bike colours reminded me of! You have hit the nail on the head with the EK connection. I plan to strip the paintwork off - no1 on my to do list...that and the easy rider bars! I'm looking at it this evening so we'll see how she runs. Seller reckons the motor is in top shape...we'll see.

Looked at the bike last night. See now why it is a good price - needs a lot of work.

On this note, how interchangeable are model parts on a '73 cb350? Worried about the avaialability of model specific parts in RSA...
