Hi, i'm Ryan... this is my bike.... picked up a cb750 81' 2 weeks ago. started working on it this week.

when I picked it up it didnt start.. it was not promising but I understood the task I had and my mind's crazy idea would come out with
enough hard work. so here's how she sat the night i brought her home. and first thing's first i made sure she started. and the trans went into gear.

Shortly After I found she had chocolate milk for oil. so i drained that out ( bike had been sitting for over a year. when i pulled off the tank and looked inside it was NASTY! rusty, gunky, the fuel that came out was black.. - flushed the engine thoroughly and proceeded with another start after some fresh oil... then came the teardown of the bike. the tank had a patch done. and it was in overall rough shape.. so i knew i had to completely tear it down and go over the whole bike.. and apparently the punisher raped it.

I started watching caferacertv maybe 2 weeks ago which inspired this whole build. i finally found my niche. i've always been near racing in the automotive scene, and as i got older i pulled away from sportbikes and looked at bobbers but always felt out of place... untill now.

so to start tore down to bare frame de tabbed got rid of the center stand bracket and painted her up.. but.. the paint didnt cure right i didnt like the final finish. so i stripped it all down again to do it over.

And got my polishing equipment setup again and got the carbs done. cleaned them out and polished the top and bottom covers. along with the engine covers. I plan to strip the paint off of it to leave it the natural coloring.

So today i purchased.. well yesterday since it's 430 am.. tires, a gold chain to offset the red frame. hayabusa rearsets. got a deal. my cafe bars, grips, and rear lights.. also have all my molding materials to build the tail section which i plan to mount the battery ( standard type for now ) till i get my SHorai.. as well as the electronics that the bike still needs. only the essentials. no turn signals. just a parking light, brake and headlight. ... also the tach and speedo i'm thinking of getting from cb750cafe.com

so let me know any input is appreciated.

good stuff there are a few garage builders around. I got the rest of my parts in today ...

That CB1000 front end keeps getting in my way in the garage.. I think She wants to become part of Trixie... I have access to a Lathe as well so i'm thinking i'm gonna mill down a new neck for her and get some conversion bearings, to slap this front on .. but the only way i'll do it is if i get a KZ1000 or some type of full wire spoke front Rim in 19" or so... If i'm gonna do it that front end needs to be COMPLETE...

keep the Shiny side Up.
